Spring Break should be memorable. This year, perhaps more than most, your theatrical child needs their tribe – their theatre family – to feel connected, joyful and proud.

We have reformatted our Spring Break camps to give your performer an interactive community in which to grow, connect and release. Lead by expert artist/educators, each day will feature guest instructors, small group creation (with ZOOM’s break-out feature), and plenty of active time – moving and laughing.

Get a jump on summer, make friends, build skills, feel connected again and meet your summer faculty!

We will delve into the core of the scenes through rehearsals and improvisational games that teach basic acting skills: clarity of thought, intension of action, commitment to choices, and active listening and responding while in character. While rehearsing scenes, students will learn to research and explore their character, balance logic with imagination, identify their character’s journey, collaborate with scene partners, and rehearse productively.

The program culminates in a showcase on Friday, for an informal showing of the week’s work.

Traveling Players summer camps and classes always offer expert training in acting, character creation, physical comedy, stage combat, improvisation, and text analysis. We also value the spirit of the ensemble.
