Zophia Pryzby is fulfilling her lifelong (well, since she was 10 years old) dream of being a TPE counselor. Zophia has attended TPE every summer for the past 8 years, participating in Middle School Ensemble, High School Ensemble, Commedia Troupe, and has one year as a TPE staffer under her belt. She has also taken advantage of TPE’s many year-round offerings including courses and workshops in physical comedy and clowning, scene study, monologues and improv, as well as the winter productions. This past summer, Zophia was the assistant counselor for the middle school ensemble productions of Blue Monster. In addition to her work with TPE, Zophia has performed professionally on stage with the Folger Shakespeare Theatre and on camera in PSA’s, commercials and educational videos. Zophia is also a classically trained dancer, having studied ballet and modern dance since the age of 3, and is a student of flying trapeze at TSNY DC. Zophia, who was unschooled from second through eighth grade, graduated from South Lakes High School in June of 2017 and is currently studying Chemistry (Pre-Med) as well as theater at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS.
