Selected as a “Summer School in the Arts” by the NEA, Traveling Players Ensemble is a not-for-profit 501c(3) professional theatre company in the Washington, DC area, dedicated to bringing great theatre into the great outdoors through a thriving summer camp and year-round acting classes and workshops. Our summer camp provides intensive, classical theatre training to small troupes of teen and pre-teen actors who are carefully guided by professional theatre artists to perform in outdoor settings.
Sponsorship provides the opportunity for a company to support the arts while getting exposure to our teenage campers, their families and friends. We offer several levels of sponsorship at different price points to fit any budget.
Traveling Players Ensemble puts on four major festivals each year, one in the spring and three in the summer, as well as our annual holiday show, Commedia Christmas Carol. Help Traveling Players bring great theatre to Tysons and beyond! Sponsorship levels for these events are as follows, harkening back to the stages of old:
Bringing theatre to the people — right in the marketplace.
Shakespeare’s beloved theater.
The world’s greatest theatre – from Ancient Greece to today!
Bringing forth new voices by commissioning new plays, with a special focus on voices that history failed to hear.
Traveling Players Ensemble offers exceptional theatrical training year-round with classes, shows, and workshops in our Studio in Tysons Corner Center, as well as Residential Camps & Conservatories. Support Traveling Players throughout the year, just like the most famous patrons of the arts did back in the day.
Performing for royalty was the pinnacle of an actor’s career!
The ancient Greek god of theatre — and wine!
Funding the Renaissance, which birthed Commedia dell’Arte.
Molière’s most generous patron.
Shakespeare’s most devoted patron.
Benefits for sponsorships at the Queen Elizabeth level will be as agreed based on sponsor’s objectives.
