In Comedy Ensemble - PLAY is the Thing!

Improv is one of the most important tools in an actor's toolbox – and the best part is you're only doing it right when you're having fun! 

By combining theatre games with your imagination, you'll hone foundational acting skills: clarity of thought and action, mental agility, spontaneity, actively listening & responding, leading & following, and creative problem-solving.

At the end of your adventure, you'll perform an improvised masterpiece – never seen before or again! 

With your fellow improv gurus, you'll create the story on the spot in front of a LIVE audience, taking their suggestions. 

Like all of our residential programs, the Comedy Ensemble requires an audition to participate. To show off your skills, you just need to prepare a short "NON-OLOGUE" – a 90-second physical comedy routine or story. Check out the Non-Ologues here.
